Congratulations are in order for Harry Potter star Rupert Grint, who has welcomed his second child with his partner, actress Georgia Groome.
The couple, who have been private about their family life, were spotted out and about in Hampstead, with their newborn baby. The two also have a four-year-old daughter, Wednesday.
Photographs obtained by The Sun show the 36-year-old actor beaming as he cradled the infant, wrapped snugly in a blanket, during a family stroll. Although at first, details about the baby were under wraps, on seeing the online chatter, took to his handle to share the first photo of the baby.
“Secret Child Slightly Revealed’ Introducing Goldie G. Grint. A 10/10 baby (so far),” he captioned the photo that saw the little one in a onesie with ‘GOLDIE’ embroidered in gold.
The photos also revealed that the little one appears to have inherited their father’s trademark red hair.
Grint, who currently stars in the psychological horror series Servant, has previously spoken candidly about the impact of parenthood. In an interview with People magazine, he admitted that becoming a father has made him “a bit of a hypochondriac.” He said, “Having a baby, you’re worried about her at all times. Everything seems dangerous. “
Speaking to Esquire, Grint also recalled the overwhelming fear of bringing daughter, Wednesday home for the first time. “The first night was just terrifying. You can’t sleep at all, just constantly checking that she’s breathing,” he revealed, adding that he has struggled with sleep since childhood.
Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome, who have been together for over a decade, continue to keep their family life largely private, but are often seen out and about town, enjoying some personal time together.
